Foggy Morning Around Mount Magazine State Park with Breakfast

Mt Magazine State Park takes a little more than two hours to get to from the Little Rock area. Elita and I left home around 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning, made the drive via I-40 and were greeted to a foggy landscape as the road rose towards the sky. Breakfast was had at the Skycrest Restaurant situated within The Lodge at Mount Magazine. This is a beautiful place but we tend to prefer Petit Jean's restaurant over this one mainly because it just seems cozier. The breakfast at Petit Jean is also better. After breakfast we messed around the bluffs ans watched the fog come and go. The wind was almost nonexistent for a change. The temperature was near 40°. Never did we see the sun on this day but the journey was still quite enjoyable.
