Driving Around Arkansas from DeGray to Queen Wilhelmina to Eureka Springs

My wife Elita and I headed out Wednesday afternoon for a four day loop around western Arkansas. We started with a night at DeGray Lake Resort State Park. An exciting visit to Crater of Diamonds State Park near Murfreesboro was next. We had never been and will never return. Onward to Talimena Scenic Drive from Oklahoma to Queen Wilhelmina State Park we did go next. From there we topped out at Eureka Springs and then went south to the Ponca and Jasper areas near the Buffalo River. On the homeward leg we stopped at Sam's Throne for a quick look from the bluffs there. By Saturday afternoon we we home. The drive was a good one with a fair amount of sporadic rain tossed in for diversity. Too much food was ingested with not enough physical activity. We had a great time!
