Drive on the Talimena Scenic Drive ending at Buffalo Point on the Buffalo National River

Wednesday afternoon arrived as expected. I drove west and eventually made it to to Mena. There, a two scoop hot fudge sunday entered my gullet and was digested nicely. It was then, and only then...that I proceeded to mount the eastern end of the Talimena Scenic Drive. I drove with great speed westward into Oklahoma. Then, it was north into the Ozarks where I slept in my car with a low temp of 39 degrees. It was then, and only then...that I proceeded towards the Buffalo River and beyond. Breakfast was procured at the Ranch House in Harrison. I eventually ended up at Buffalo Point on the Buffalo National River. My presence was noted to be a solitary one. The entire area was mine, all mine. I savored the local natural beauty, then worked south.
