Drive around some prominent mountains in the Ouachita National Forest

On occasion, it's a delight to take a drive around the state. Sometimes. a drive around the national forest is even better. After breakfast at the Jones Family Restaurant just outside of Perryville, the backroads of the eastern Ouachita National Forest were mounted. A few mountains were visited. These were Flatside Pinnacle, Forked Mountain, Crystal Mountain and North Fork Pinnacle. The morning was clear and cold and windy as well. Clouds moved in later in the morning. Many deer were observed crossing the road in front of me. Only a couple were bumped into the ditch. The drive was very refreshing and provide me with much pleasure.
