Bluff hike near Chalybeate Spur on Woods Mountain

Woods Mountain is an eight mile long ridge running east to west in the Ozark National Forest. I entered the shrubbery on the southern exposure of this mountain at 5:00 a.m. with 34°. Chalybeate Spur was nearby. I exited this same parcel of brambly terrain at 10:30 with 55°. The weather was of fine quality. The forest was of poor quality. My hike covered 4.5 miles of mostly crap. My early intel of the area was without merit. I plan to never return to this edge of the Ozark Plateau again.
