Hike to the East Fork Illinois Bayou and Mill Creek

Just last week I was in this area. Just last month I was in this area as well. A rocky bluff line was observed in the distance on one of these hikes. The need to know what was there brought me back. Breakfast was as Denny's. It was nutritious, delicious...damned ostentatious. Then the forest was entered. At 5:15 it was 30° with clear skies. A boulder choked bluff line above the river was mounted. The sun jumped right up there. The bluff line was traced until the large rocks subsided. It was then downward into the valley, Mill Creek was followed upstream. Lunch was had up the slope. Exit from the forest was at 12:25 with 39°. The hike was lovely. The distance covered was 5.8 miles.
