Hike to the East Fork and Lee Hollow with superior bluff action

A front came through and cooled us down a bit, so what better time then now to take a late summer hike into the deadly forest. The woods were entered at 4:30 with 63° and clear skies. The darkness enveloped me and I became sore afraid...not. My designated bluff was located and with extra time to kill, I laid back and listened to the whippoorwills and owls and crickets and foxes. The sun rose as expected and the morning was, as if, from a dream. Time was spent and then my direction turned south to Lee Hollow. The bluff line was traced to the west and eventually my path took me back up the hillside. Arrival mas made back to the car at 9:00 with 67°. The hike covered a mere 2.3 miles.
