Return to Spadra Creek for further exploration

Recently, a visit was made to Spadra creek. Many interesting oddities were observed there. On this particular Tuesday morning, a return was made to explore deeper. At 4:50 with 39° and clear skies, penetration ensued beyond the barrier of the dense forest exterior. After much peril, a suitable bluff top was mounted and the wait for dawn was initiated. The view was fair. The day was of the highest quality. Around 8:00, the depths of the corrugated valley were dropped into. The creeks had adequate flow and many falls were noted and found to be pleasing. Assorted and famous waterfalls were identified. These included Dueling Chubsuckler Falls, Johnny Dendrite Falls and Timber Trash Falls. At a point in the hike, my way was made back up the mountain. Lunch was had on top and was very refreshing. Arrival back to the vehicle as at 12:15 with 59°. This hike was measured at 4.2 miles.
