Many times have I visited this Wilderness. It is a place of beauty that never gets old. Entry was made near the Kapark area at 5:15 a.m. with clear skies and a breezy 38°. My way was made to Bowers Hollow. The falls were past and viewed by headlamp light. A bluff top well down the hollow was found and occupied for sunrise festivities. It rose swifty and provided more light than desired. A few clouds mixed in would have been preferable. This bluff line was followed around to the Buffalo River and on to Hubbard Hollow. Lunch was had at creekside a ways above the falls there. Afterwards. the climb back to the surface was initialed. Exit from the forest occurred at 11:30 with a fairly windy 53°. This circular hike covered 6.4 miles.
