Hike to a bluff above lower Richland Creek where tarps run free
10/16/24
In a world where wilderness exist...there can be only one that reigns supreme. That wilderness area is Richland Creek Wilderness Area. At 5:30 with 37° and very clean skies, I did not enter that wilderness, but just downstream of...it. The terrain was scrubby secondary to logging and burning. A point was reached prior to sunrise. The morning was beginning and it was of fine quality. Time was spent on a rocky promontory. After, the return hike was undertaken in hard fashion. At 10:35 with 50°, the area was evacuated. Distance covered in miles was classified as many.
