Ridge to bluff hike above Hurricane Creek

Many times have I explored this wilderness...many times nearly perishing. This one area I had not entered, so in I went at 4:35 with 46°. These woods were dense with undergrowth...vines, stickers, brambles and the sort. My determination was not diminished by this. My bluff line of choice as mounted and as the day was slowly lit, the vast valley was revealed. Hurricane Creek lies deep below and is fed my numerous side hollows and valleys. This was observed and it was noted to be good. Then I headed back and exited at 9:05 with 56°. 4.2 miles were traversed.
