This wilderness is the best in Arkansas with Upper Buffalo second and Hurricane Creek third. Many times have I wandered within its boundaries. At at 4:40 with 59° the darkness of pre dawn enveloped me as the forest was entered. Within a matter of timely units my bluff view was before me. Sunrise was mere moments away. It came...I watched. Then, it was down to the creek. Afterwards, I enjoyed the climb of of the valley. Exit occurred at 10:50 with 70°. Many miles were covered.
