Hiking and fishing on Bear Creek
7/10/25
At 4:30 on Thursday morning it was 68° and quite humid. There was fog. My way was made through the dark and dank forest until the stream of focus was located. It was there that I began to wade downstream. Numerous lunker style bass were snagged and released during this slog towards the Buffalo River. Exit was made just above the confluence with the Buffalo at 9:00 with 79°. The hike totalled 3.8 miles.
