Mulberry River
Camping and kayaking on the Mulberry River
9/24/25
Arrival was made at the Redding Campground. Camp was arranged within minutes. My car was taken downstream and abandoned at a church...uh come on down. I then rode my bike five miles back to camp. Rain looked to be imminent, but never occurred. Dinner and beer were enjoyed. Then, it was to bed. Some goobers across from me talked until 2:15 a.m. I rose early and hit the river at 7:00. The level was 4.8 and proved to be a goodly stage for extreme action. My exit from the river was at Hwy 23. All gear was then loaded and exit from the recreation area was initiated. I then drove home at6 extremely high rates of speed. The morning was of utmost quality.
