Hike above Pruitt Hollow near the Upper Buffalo River
12/13/25
My knee was bothering me a bit so this was the plan...walk down a bad road and then enter the woods. The hike began at 4:55 with 34° and clear skies. A waning gibbous of a moon added a decent amount of light to the deadly forest. A ridge was followed out to its point and that's where I stopped for the morning. The forest was filled with timber trash as my way was made back. There came a time that lunch was due to be had, so it was had. Then...just after the resting and ingesting, the road was hit and followed back to my origin point. At 10:45 it was 47° and partly cloudy. 5.8 miles were covered on this hike.
