Bluff hike above the valley of Cub Creek

Many years ago I visited this creek close to where it meets with Hurricane Creek. This is a beautiful valley but its natural appeal is marred by logging in some locations. Friday morning at 5:00 with 28°, the tree line was punctured and my short hike began. The search for a suitable bluff top proved to be fruitless, but the morning came forth with great beauty despite this. At 8:30 with 30° and mostly cloudless skies, exit was made.The hike only covered 2.3 miles.
