Hike down Dismal Creek past Glory Hole Falls with melancholy action

It's that time of year when young men like myself must make one last trip into the woods before Christmas. The temperature was off a bit with 58° and humidity around 90%. I headed down the road at 4:30 a.m. with cloudiness. Then...the forest was penetrated. My way was made to the Hole of Glory...now known as the Hole of Death. After looking at this overvisited flow unit, exit was made and my direction was downstream along the bluff line. The night gave way to a cloudy morning. My path remained on top of the bluffs. Eventually, I arrived back at my vehicular unit. It was now 9:45 with 63°. Mileage was 4.4 miles.
