Cold hike to bluffs above Big Creek with juicy boulder action

Big Creek is big, I guess. At least eight creeks with that name have been identified in Arkansas. This particular variant is the one the flows in the valley below the Sam's Throne area. This hike occurred in the uppermost reaches of this Big Creek on the western side. The morning was cold. At 4:10 with 18° my walk began. The temp probably went below 18°, but my thermometer was left at home. Arrival was made at the bluff line with at least an hour to spare before sunrise. The sun did hit the sky. More hiking transpired with bluffs and boulders here and also there. At 10:10 with 27° and clear skies, my origin was before me. The total hike covered 5.5 miles.
