Hike on Terrapin Branch in the Upper Buffalo Wilderness Area
6/22/26
It's been 13 years since my last visit to this area. It was once in 2012 and twice in 2013. The valley has some interesting features. At 4:10 with 62° and cloudy skies, the tree unit was approached and entered. A bluff was secured and no visible sunrise was witnessed. A hollow was later followed upstream where some water flowed over some sloped rocks. Exit was made at 9:45 with 68°. Clouds continued to obscure the sky. The total hike covered 2.7 miles.
